The Comedy Network Pays Tribute to the Late John Pinette with Back-to-Back Specials, This Saturday

TORONTO (April 9, 2014) – Followingthe passing of John Pinette last weekend, The Comedy Network pays a fondtribute to the late, wildly popular stand-up comic, actor, and “classact,” this Saturday, April 12 withthree back-to-back stand-up specials. At 8p.m. ET/PT, Comedy presents an episode of JUSTFOR LAUGHS: ALL ACCESS, in which Pinette hosts a gala from the MontréalFestival in 2012. Then, at 9 p.m. ET/PT,viewers are treated to an encore presentation of his 2011 stand-up special JohnPinette: Still Hungry. It all leads up to the world premiere of JFL TheMasters: John Pinette at10 p.m. ET/PT (encoring Sunday, April 13 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. ET/PT), averitable “best of” from the MontréalFestival over the years.
