TORONTO (April 26, 2017) – As the Trump Presidency’s first 100 days continues to fuel comedic fire, The Comedy Network continues to stack its late-night line-up with the addition of buzz-worthy new satirical weekly series, THE PRESIDENT SHOW, airing Thursdays at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT beginning tomorrow, April 27.
Starring critically-acclaimed comedian Anthony Atamanuik as President Trump, THE PRESIDENT SHOW follows a world where Trump is bypassing the crooked media by hosting a late-night show direct from the Oval Office. No unfair questions from reporters, no awkward photo ops with German ladies, and no bedtimes. A fun show where he can put his unique Trumpian spin on such late-night staples as desk segments, field pieces and guest interviews. Vice President Mike Pence is featured as his sidekick, played by Peter Grosz (VEEP).
THE PRESIDENT SHOW joins Comedy’s unparalleled, satirical late-night lineup which includes FULL FRONTAL WITH SAMATHA BEE and THE DAILY SHOW WITH TREVOR NOAH.
As the only female helming a late-night talk-show, Samantha Bee continues to be one of the most-buzzed about and revered late-night hosts on the Emmy®-nominated, TCA award-winning FULL FRONTAL WITH SAMANTHA BEE, airing Wednesdays at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. Featuring her bare-knuckled coverage of U.S. politics, infamous field reports and more, FULL FRONTAL continues to expand its Bee-hive, with Season 2 seeing a 28% increase in audience over Season 1.
This Saturday, April 29, The Comedy Network exclusively presents FULL FRONTAL’s first annual NOT THE WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENTS' DINNER at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Samantha Bee hosts the evening’s festivities from Washington D.C.’s largest concert hall, DAR Constitution Hall.
