TORONTO (December 19, 2014) – The internet is a deadly place in the all-new scripted cyber-thriller EYE CANDY, premiering  Monday, Jan. 12 at 10 p.m. ET, exclusively on MTV. Based on the best-selling novel by R.L. Stine (Goosebumps), the hour-long, 10-episode drama series centers on tech genius Lindy Sampson (Victoria Justice, VICTORIOUS), a 21-year-old hacker with a gift for seeing clues and connections in the digital world that others can’t. In advance of the series premiere, viewers get a rare inside look at the personal life of Victoria Justice in BEING VICTORIA JUSTICE, premiering Monday, Jan. 5 at 10 p.m. ET.  The special follows Justice as she prepares to leave Los Angeles and move to New York for her starring role in EYE CANDY. Lindy (Justice) is convinced by her roommate, Sophia (Kiersey Clemons, TRANSPARENT) to begin online dating, but she quickly starts to suspect that one of her mysterious suitors may be a deadly cyber stalker. When her friends at the elusive cyber police uncover a potential serial killer in Manhattan, all signs point to one of Lindy’s dates. Teaming up with the cyber unit, Lindy works to solve the murders while unleashing her own style of justice on the streets of New York. EYE CANDY also stars Casey Deidrick (DAYS OF OUR LIVES), John Garet Stoker (Sean Graney’s Oedipus and the Foul Mess of Thebes), and Harvey Guillen (The Internship).
