Click here to meet the members of DOOM PATROL. “DOOM PATROL puts a new spin on the popular superhero genre and we’re thrilled to deliver this irreverent series to Canadian viewers,” said Pat DiVittorio, Vice-President, Programming, CTV and Specialty. “Already receiving great rave from critics and fans alike, we know DOOM PATROL will be right at home among Space’s go-to slate of premium genre programming.” Each member of the Doom Patrol – Robotman a.k.a. Cliff Steele (Brendan Fraser, The Mummy franchise), Negative Man a.k.a. Larry Trainor (Matt Bomer, WHITE COLLAR), Elasti-Woman a.k.a. Rita Farr (April Bowlby, DROP DEAD DIVA), and Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero, ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK) – suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities, but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found their purpose through modern-day mad scientist Niles Caulder a.k.a. The Chief (Timothy Dalton, PENNY DREADFUL), who brings them together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence. But when The Chief mysteriously? disappears, the reluctant heroes find themselves in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg (Joivan Wade, The First Purge), who comes to them with a mission they cannot refuse. In the series premiere (Tuesday, April 2 at 9 p.m. ET), tired of being stuck in Doom Manor, the team decides to visit the local town while The Chief is away. However, this seemingly harmless field trip leads to some grave consequences, including an encounter with the mysterious and powerful Mr. Nobody (Alan Tudyk, FIREFLY). Then, in an episode entitled “Donkey Patrol,” following Mr. Nobody's capture of Niles Caulder and the destruction of Cloverton Ohio, The Doom Patrol investigate the mysterious albino donkey and discover it is a door to another universe, one where Mr. Nobody is in control. Cyborg aka Vic Stone (series star JOIVAN WADE), a part man/part machine hero from Detroit who has his own complicated relationship with Niles Caulder, joins the search. DOOM PATROL is produced by Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
