They Say You Can’t Choose Your Family, But These Tenants Did. This Is…THE VILLAGE

— March 18, 2019

Centering on an intriguing and diverse group of residents, THE VILLAGE is about a community that shares much more than just an address, but rather friendships, love, and some tears.

A story of mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, veteran soldiers – these lives are brought together to prove that you don’t need to be related to be family.

As the saying goes…“It takes a village.” And if you’re under The Village’s roof, you’re family. Here’s just a glimpse into who lives behind the walls of THE VILLAGE:

Nick Porter (Warren Christie, MOTIVE, THE RESIDENT)

Nick is the newest tenant to The Village. Just out of rehab following his time in the army, this veteran is just getting used to life following war, but luckily doesn’t have to do it alone.

Sarah Campbell (Michaela McManus, LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT, ONE TREE HILL)

Sarah is a nurse and single mother to a smart and passionate teenage daughter who gets herself into some trouble. It’s nothing Sarah can’t handle as she has the help of her friends at The Village.

Patricia Davis (Lorraine Toussaint, Selma, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS)

One half of the heart of the building, Patricia, the landlord’s wife, focuses on providing for the building’s residents, even if it means putting herself last.

Get to know these characters and the closely bonded community who are not just neighbours but chosen family in THE VILLAGE, beginning Tuesday, March 19 at 7 p.m. ET on CTV; before the series moves into its regular Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET timeslot.
