Friday, April 1 11 p.m. – BANSHEE – *Season 4 Premiere* In the fourth and final season premiere of BANSHEE, Lucas (Antony Starr, OUTRAGEOUS FORTUNE) becomes immersed in a new Banshee crisis involving a vicious serial murderer. This season also stars, Ivana Milicevic (MIND OF THE MARRIED MAN) as Carrie Hopewell, Ulrich Thomsen (The Celebration) as Lucas’ arch-enemy, Kai Proctor, Hoon Lee (THE BLACKLIST) as Job, and Frankie Faison (THE WIRE) as Sugar Bates.  12:30 a.m. – ANIMALS – Season 1, Episode 9 *New Time* Squirrels Phil (Phil Matarese, Animals. Horses), Mike (Mike Luciano, Animals. Horses), and April (Claudia O’Doherty, Trainwreck) reach the thrilling conclusion of their treacherous journey out of their collapsed tree home. A queen ant goes undercover as a worker ant to make friends.  Sunday, April 3 9 p.m. – VINYL – Season 1, Episode 8 Rebuffed by a loan officer with, a desperate Richie (Bobby Cannavale, BOARDWALK EMPIRE) approaches Maury (Paul Ben-Victor, THE SOPRANOS) about doing a deal with Galasso (Armen Garo, The Departed). Devon (Olivia Wilde, Rush) and Ingrid (Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, Pitch Perfect 2) make the scene at Max’s Kansas City, where Devon impresses a photographer with her ability to charm a major celebrity into giving up his photo. Tasked by Richie to come up with a new song, Kip (James Jagger, Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll) and the Nasty Bits get a crash course in the blues from Lester (Ato Essandoh, BLUE BLOODS). 10 p.m. – GIRLS – SEASON 5, Episode 7 Hannah (Lena Dunham) is reprimanded by the school principal, and her response infuriates Fran (Jake Lacy, THE OFFICE). At Adam’s (Adam Driver, Star Wars: Episode VIII) play, a nervous Jessa (Jemima Kirke, Tiny Furniture) worries about seeing Hannah after their fight, and Marnie (Allison Williams, PETER PAN LIVE!) shares news with Ray (Alex Karpovsky, Inside Llewyn Davis). Elijah (Andrew Rannells, THE NEW NORMAL) attends a swanky party at Dill’s (Corey Stoll, Ant-Man) apartment, where he gets the impression that he might be one of many.  10:30 p.m. – TOGETHERNESS – Season 2, Episode 7 Facing pressure to build the school she envisioned, Michelle (Melanie Lynskey, TWO AND A HALF MEN) turns to Brett (Mark Duplass, THE LEAUGE) and Alex (Steve Zissis, Her) for help. The roundtable guests are author Max Brooks, radio host Andy Dean, and economic equality advocate Heather McGhee.  11 p.m. – BANSHEE – Season 4, Episode 2 When her hunt fails to find any leads, Carrie embarks on a vigilante crusade, while Brock (Matt Servitto, THE SOPRANOS) eyes Lucas as a suspect in the serial-murder case. 12 a.m. – VICE – Season 4, Episode 8 When the United States invaded Afghanistan, the liberation of Afghan women was used as a rallying cry to garner public support. Now, after nearly 15 years and hundreds of billions in taxpayer dollars spent, violence and oppression are still a fact of life for the country’s women. With the Taliban gaining ground again, Isobel Yeung reports from Kabul on the fight for dignity and rights in Afghanistan. Then VICE investigates private military contractors who work to stop world trade from grinding to a standstill, and their network of weapons storage ships in lawless international waters. Taking a closer look at who’s protecting global commerce today, VICE co-founder Suroosh Alvi reports from one of these floating armories in the Gulf of Aden.  12:30 a.m. – ANIMALS – *Season 1 Finale* After his wife is taken from him, a turkey seeks revenge on The Mayor during the Thanksgiving Day parade. Two rat teens venture out of the sewer and discover the joys and horrors of life aboveground. Saturday, April 9 9 p.m. – NOTHING LEFT UNSAID: GLORIA VANDERBILT AND ANDERSON COOPER *Documentary Premiere* Born to wealth and New York royalty, Gloria Vanderbilt has lived in the public eye for more than 90 years, experiencing extreme tragedy and tremendous success side by side. Oscar®-nominated director Liz Garbus (A GOOD JOB: STORIES OF THE FDNY) captures Vanderbilt as she’s never been seen before, as she and her son discover how family stories of loss and survival repeat themselves in the most unexpected ways. Sunday, April 10 9 p.m. – VINYL – Season 1, Episode 9 After an unsettling visit with Devon and the kids, Richie weighs his options as the heat surrounding the Buck Rogers murder case is turned up. Thrown out of her aunt’s townhouse, Jamie (Juno Temple, Maleficent) crashes with Kip as the Nasty Bits finish their record and do a photo shoot. At American Century, Maury Gold (Paul Ben-Victor) pitches a 50s compilation LP, while Zak (Ray Romano) tries to fund a band for his wedding singer, Gary, aka “Xavier.”  10 p.m. – GIRLS – Season 5, Episode 8 Stranded after her summer road trip with Fran is cut short, Hannah is rescued by Ray, but their trip back to New York City gets derailed. When he hasn’t heard from Caroline (Gaby Hoffmann, TRANSPARENT), Adam stops by Laird’s (Jon Glaser, INSIDE AMY SCHUMER) place and stays to help with the baby. Back from Japan, Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet, The Kids Are Alight) gets a wakeup call over a sushi lunch. Please visit:  Monday, April 11 8 p.m. – JIM: THE JAMES FOLEY STORY *Documentary Premiere* In August 2014, the video execution of American conflict journalist James Foley by the militant group ISIS challenged the world to deal with a new face of terror. This documentary takes viewers from small-town New England to the adrenaline-fueled front lines of Libya and Syria, where Foley pushed the limits of danger to report on the plight of civilians impacted by war. The film culminates in Foley’s capture by ISIS, the confusion and emotional upheaval that followed, and ending in his tragic death.  Wednesday, April 13 11 p.m. – FIGHT GAME WITH JIM LAMPLEY #23 On this edition of THE FIGHT GAME, Max Kellerman (The Situation with Tucker Carlson) and professional boxer, Bernard Hopkins join Lampley to review the Manny Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley Jr. April 9 welterweight showdown, preview the fight schedule and address the latest headlines and issues; Lampley presents a new pound-for-pound compilation; and correspondent Melissa Stark (MSNBC LIVE) visits 2012 Olympic gold medalist Claressa Shields for a revealing profile of the boxer, who has qualified for the upcoming Summer Olympic Games in Rio.
