Marnie (Allison Williams, PETER PAN LIVE!) and Desi (Ebon Moss-Bachrach, LolaVersus)perform as part of a jazz brunch for a distracted crowd at a downtownrestaurant. Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet, MADMEN) signs for her diploma with her parents, who make a bigger deal out of theevent than she thinks necessary. Jessa(Jemima Kirke, Tiny Furniture) is confronted by Beedie’s (Louise Lasser,MaryHartman,MaryHartman) daughter, Rickie (Natasha Lyonne, ORANGE IS THENEW BLACK),and later seems nonplussed by Hannah’s impending departure.

Following a groupouting at the beach, Michelle and Brett clash while Tina confronts an ex, withAlex’s help.

During the 1936Summer Olympics in Nazi Germany - beneath Adolph Hitler’s hateful shadow - ayoung African American athlete, Jesse Owens, displayed his remarkable talent andcourage competing for a country that will celebrate his victories but deny himhis human rights. Historians and sociologists give insights into Owens’ lifeboth during and after the Berlin Olympics, from his four gold medals and hisso-called friendship with German athlete Luz Long, to his curious role in thefamous 1968 Olympic protests in Mexico City.

Dom scopes out a location in theTenderloin for a peri peri chicken take-out window; Doris (Lauren Weedman,DateNight) ischatted up by a cute political aide; and Agustín makes plans to meet up withEddie (Daniel Franzese, MeanGirls),the “bear” he met at Russian River, but gets sidetracked by an oldco-worker.

Ankie Spitzerrecalls the tragic story of how her husband, André Spitzer, an Israeli Olympicfencing coach, along with 10 other Israeli athletes, were taken hostage andkilled by Palestinian terrorists at the Munich Olympics in 1972. Ankie revealsher intense struggle to uncover the details about the murders, from whathappened on that tragic day to the political intrigue in the painful aftermath.

Patrick gets readyfor his first official overnight with Kevin, who’s also agreed to attend Dom’srugby match – though Kevin doesn’t want Patrick’s friends to know they areseeing each other. At breakfast with Doris and her new fling, Malik (BashirSalahuddin, LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON), Dom questions whether Lynn fully supports hisdream of opening his own restaurant.

9 p.m. –SPORTS ON FIRE –Episode 4 of 6 SPORTS ON FIRE delves into the controversial topicof gender testing, speaking with Spanish hurdler Maria Patiño, who failed hergender test in 1985, and Erik(a) Schinegger, the Women’s World Champion DownhillSkier who failed a gender test in 1968. Maria and Erik(a), along with experts inthe field, raise profound and jaw-dropping truths about gender, and question ifit’s possible, in certain cases, to even scientifically test for gender.
