Thursday, March 6

9 p.m. – MARON – Season 1, Episode 1 of 10 *Series Premiere*

New comedy series MARON explores a fictionalized version of comedian Marc Maron’s life, relationships, and his career. The show includes his popular WTF podcast, which features conversations with celebrities and fellow comedians. In the series premiere of MARON, Marc finds himself the subject of derision on Twitter. With the help of his podcast guest, Dave Foley (SPUN OUT), Marc decides to track down the internet troll.

 

9:30 p.m. – THE BIRTHDAY BOYS – Season 1, Episode 1 of 10 *Series Premiere*

THE BIRTHDAY BOYS is a 30-minute sketch comedy series that draws from the collaboration between Odenkirk and The Birthday Boys, a L.A.-based comedy team of the same name. The series features both stand-alone and multi-act sketches that poke fun at real-life moments and cultural touchstones. THE BIRTHDAY BOYS ensemble includes Jefferson Dutton, Dave Ferguson, Mike Hanford, Tim Kalpakis, Mike Mitchell, Chris VanArtsdalen, Matt Kowalick from the sketch variety series COMEDY BANG! BANG!

 

Friday, March 7

7 p.m. – FREE SAMPLES (2012) – *Premiere*

A Stanford law-school dropout named Jillian (Jess Weixler, THE GOOD WIFE) escapes to the anonymity of Los Angeles to figure out what she wants to do with her life. Also starring Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network).

 

9 p.m. – THE HANGOVER PART III (2013) – *Premiere*

When Doug (Justin Bartha, The Hangover Trilogy) is kidnapped by an angry gangster, the rest of the Wolf Pack, Phil (Bradley Cooper, Silver Linings Playbook), Stu (Ed Helms, THE OFFICE), and Alan (Zach Galifianakis, Due Date) must track down Mr. Chow (Ken Jeong, COMMUNITY) who has escaped from prison and is on the lam.

 

Saturday, March 8

9 p.m. – THE PURGE (2013) – *Premiere*

Home security salesman James Sandin (Ethan Hawke, Before Sunset), his wife Mary (Lena Headey, GAME OF THRONES), and their children are held hostage during the Purge, a 12-hour period in which any and all crime is legalized.

 

Sunday, March 9

9 p.m. – SHAMELESS – Season 4, Episode 8 of 12

 

10 p.m. – HOUSE OF LIES – Season 3, Episode 8 of 12

Marty and the team execute their plan to wrestle Marissa’s (Eliza Coupe, HAPPY ENDINGS) family’s media company away from her siblings. Jeannie encourages Marty to let Clyde (Ben Schwartz) out of the doghouse. Doug (Josh Lawson) and Sarah’s (Jenny Slate) relationship is tested.

 

10:30 p.m. – EPISODES – Season 3, Episode 8 of 9

Filming on PUCKS! is drawing to a close and everyone is focused on what they will do next. 

 

Thursday, March 13

7:25 p.m. – OLD STOCK (2012) – *Canadian Feature Film Premiere*

In the wake of a car accident, a young man (Noah Reid, BACKPACKERS) drops out of his own life and hides out at with his grandfather (Danny Wells, Textuality) at a senior’s home.

 

9 p.m. – MARON – Season 1, Episode 2 of 10

While Denis Leary (RESCUE ME) is on the podcast, Marc’s manhood is put into question. This conversation fuels Marc to tackle a home improvement problem with the help of his new eager assistant, Kyle (Josh Brener, HBO’s upcoming series SILICON VALLEY). Sally Kellerman (UNSUPERVISED) also guest stars.

 

9:30 p.m. – THE BIRTHDAY BOYS – Season 1, Episode 2 of 10

 

Friday, March 14

7:30 p.m. – THE LEGEND OF SARILA (2013) – *Canadian Feature Film Premiere*

In the animated film THE LEGEND OF SARILA, three young Inuits set off in search of a promised land to save their clan from starvation. Voiced by Christopher Plummer (Muhammad Ali’s Greatest Fight), Dustin Milligan (Repeaters), and Rachelle Lefevre (White House Down).

 

Saturday, March 15

9 p.m. – THE CONJURING (2013) – *Premiere*

Inspired by actual events, paranormal investigators Ed (Patrick Wilson, A GIFTED MAN) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga, The Departed) work to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in their farmhouse.

 

Sunday, March 16

9 p.m. – SHAMELESS – Season 4, Episode 9 of 12

 

10 p.m. – HOUSE OF LIES – Season 3, Episode 9 of 12

Marty and the Pod accompany Lukas on a tour through his old neighbourhood. Monica (Dawn Olivieri) seeks help from Kaan & Associates on a new food product. Roscoe is embarrassed by Lex.

 

10:30 p.m. – EPISODES – Season 3, Episode 9 of 9 – *Season Finale*

Interest in the script of “The Opposite of Us” intensifies and Beverly struggles to keep Sean on course and return to London. Matt has his own battles to fight when he learns that NBC expects him to audition for the lead in a new drama pilot.

 

Thursday, March 20

9 p.m. – MARON – Season 1, Episode 3 of 10

Marc’s father, Larry (Judd Hirsch, DAMAGES), shows up in an RV outside Marc’s house looking to stay for a while. Marc quickly learns that this will not work out, both personally and professionally.

Friday, March 21

7:10 p.m. – THE SMURFS 2 (2013) – *Premiere*

The Smurfs team up with their human friends Patrick, (Neil Patrick Harris, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER), Grace (Jayma Mays, GLEE), and Victor (Brendan Gleeson, The Grand Seduction) to rescue Smurfette (voiced by Katy Perry), who has been kidnapped by Gargamel (voiced by Hank Azaria, THE SIMPSONS).

 

9 p.m. – PARANOIA (2013) *Premiere*

An entry-level employee (Liam Hemsworth, The Hunger Games Trilogy) at a powerful corporation finds himself occupying a corner office, but at a dangerous price: he must spy on his boss's (Gary Oldman, The Dark Night Rises) old mentor (Harrison Ford, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues) to gain inside knowledge about a multi-million dollar deal.

9 p.m. – BATTLE OF THE YEAR (2013) – *Premiere*

The largest b-boy dance competition, Battle of the Year, attracts the best teams from around the world, but the Americans haven’t won in fifteen years. Dante (Laz Alonso, DECEPTION) enlists Blake (Josh Holloway, INTELLIGENCE) to assemble a team of the best dancers and bring the trophy back to America where it started.

 

Saturday, March 29

7:25 p.m. – ONE DIRECTION: THIS IS US (2013) – *Premiere*

ONE DIRECTION: THIS IS US provides an intimate all-access look at English-Irish pop boy band, One Direction consisting of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Harry Styles’s meteoric rise to fame. This concert film takes viewers from their humble hometown beginnings and competing on THE X-FACTOR, to conquering the world and performing at London’s famed O2 Arena.
