  • Sunday afternoon spooks with the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY thrill-ogy, beginning October 5 at 4 p.m. ET

Below is a chronological listing of detailed highlights for October. All programming is subject to change (all times ET; visit to confirm local broadcast times).

Saturday, Oct. 4

2 p.m. ET GHOSTS OF GOLDFIELD *Movie Premiere*

A group of five friends led by Julie (Marnette Patterson) set up their filming equipment in the hotel of the derelict town of Goldfield, hoping to capture footage of the ghost of Elisabeth Walker, a maid tortured and killed in room 109. Troubled by visions, Julie discovers that a necklace, handed down to her from her grandmother, is somehow connecting her to this tragedy.


Beginning Oct. 4, viewers can revel in haunting episodes of THE SIMPSONS TREEHOUSE OF HORROR marathon blocks. Beginning with TREEHOUSE OF HORROR XIII (2002), Homer uses a magic hammock to clone himself in “Send In The Clones”. Then, gun-wielding zombies attack Springfield after a ban on firearms in “The Right to Creep and Scare Harms”. Finally, The Simpsons are trapped on an island where people are transformed into animals in “The Island of Dr.Hibbert”, as the haunts continue.

10 p.m. ET PIRANHA 3DD (2012) *Movie Premiere*

After the events at Lake Victoria, the prehistoric school of blood-thirsty piranhas head upstream into a newly opened waterpark. Lead by the strong-willed, studious Maddy (Danielle Panabaker) and her friends, Barry (Matt Bush) and Kyle (Chris Zylka), the trio must dive in and take on the man-eating creatures using every ounce of their being.

Sunday, Oct. 5

4 p.m. ET PARANORMAL ACTIVITY (2007) – *Movie Premiere*

After a young, middle class couple moves into a suburban 'starter' tract house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be somehow demonic but is certainly most active in the middle of the night.

11 p.m. ET – SCREAM (1996) – *Movie Premiere*

A masked killer begins murdering teenagers in a small town, and as the body count rises, one girl (Neve Campbell) and her friends, contemplate the "rules" of horror films as they find themselves living in a real-life one.

Saturday, Oct. 11

11 p.m. ET – THE FACULTY (1998) – *Movie Premiere*

After a set of bizarre occurrences in small-town Herrington High, students (Elijah Wood, Josh Harnett, Jordana Brewster, and Clea Duvall) suspect the teaching staff of being aliens who are intent on making the students their victims.

Sunday, Oct. 12

4 p.m. ET – PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2 (2010) – *Movie Premiere*

After experiencing what they think are a series of "break-ins", a family sets up security cameras around their home, only to realize that the events unfolding before them are more sinister than they seem.

11 p.m. ET – SCREAM 2 (1997) – *Movie Premiere*

Two years after the terrifying events that occurred in Woodsboro, Sidney (Neve Campbell) is now attending Windsor College with friend Randy (Jamie Kennedy). Meanwhile, Gale Weathers’ (Courteney Cox) best-selling book on Sidney's life has now been made into a major motion picture. When tragedy occurs at the movie theatre preview of "Stab," Sidney knows deep down that history is for sure repeating itself.

Monday, Oct. 13 – Friday Oct. 31


The thrills continue weeknights with THE SIMPSONS TREEHOUSE OF HORROR marathon beginning with TREEHOUSE OF HORROR XII (2001) where a gypsy puts a curse on Homer in "Hex in the City”. New episodes of TREEHOUSE OF HORROR XII air all month long weeknights at 9 p.m. ET.

Saturday, Oct. 18

10 p.m. ET SHAUN OF THE DEAD (2004) – *Movie Premiere*

Shaun (Simon Pegg) decides to turn his moribund life around by winning back his ex-girlfriend (Kate Ashfield), reconciling his relationship with his mother, and dealing with an entire community that has returned from the dead to eat the living.

Sunday, Oct. 19

4 p.m. ET PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3 (2011) – *Movie Premiere*

Set 18 years prior to the events of the first two films, cinematographer Dennis moves into his girlfriend Julie’s house to become a family with she and her daughters. The girls befriend an entity which leads to an eerie discovery of how the paranormal activity first began.

11 p.m. ET – SCREAM 3 (2000) – *Movie Premiere*

While Sidney (Neve Campbell) and her friends visit the Hollywood set of Stab 3, the third film based on the Woodsboro murders, a new Ghostface begins to terrorize them.

10 p.m. ET – SORORITY ROW (2009) *Movie Premiere*

A group of sorority sisters (Rumer Willis, Audrina Patridge) from Theta Pi try to cover up the death of their house-sister after a prank goes wrong, only to be stalked by a serial killer.

Sunday, Oct. 26

4 p.m. ET – THE WOMAN IN BLACK (2012) – *Movie Premiere*

A young lawyer (Daniel Radcliffe) struggling with work after the death of his wife, is sent to a remote village to settle the estate of a deceased eccentric woman who owns an English manor. The village residents want him to leave as they are trying to conceal a deadly secret of a scorned woman terrorizing the locals.

11 p.m. ET – SCREAM 4 (2011) – *Movie Premiere*

Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. Unfortunately, Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale (Courtney Cox), and Dewey (David Arquette), along with Jill (Emma Roberts), her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.
