TORONTO (November 29, 2016) – Featuring 300+ hours of live coverage spanning seven championship events, TSN today announced the network’s Season of Champions curling broadcast schedule, kicking off with sweeping coverage of the 2016 HOME HARDWARE CANADA CUP beginning tomorrow (Wednesday, Nov. 30). TSN delivers every draw from the 2016 HOME HARDWARE CANADA CUP, live from Westman Communications Group Place in Brandon, Man., beginning tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. ET on TSN with the men’s and women’s round robin draws. Coverage culminates Sunday, Dec. 4 with the men’s and women’s finals (see below or visit TSN.ca for a complete broadcast schedule and schedule highlights). Delivering all the action from the 2016 HOME HARDWARE CANADA CUP is TSN’s acclaimed broadcast team of play-by-play announcer Vic Rauter alongside analysts Russ Howard, a 2006 OLYMPIC gold medallist and two-time BRIER and WORLD CURLING champion, and 2010 OLYMPIC silver medallist Cheryl Bernard. Calling the early draws are play-by-play announcer Bryan Mudryk and Cathy Gauthier, a three-time SCOTTIES winner and 2015 Women’s World Senior Champion. The women’s competition is headlined by Rachel Homan, competing for a second consecutive CANADA CUP victory. Homan takes on a star-studded field which includes Chelsea Carey, Kerri Einarson, Jennifer Jones, Tracy Fleury, Kelsey Rocque, and Val Sweeting. The men’s competition features an all-star lineup that includes 2015 HOME HARDWARE CANADA CUP and 2016 WORLD MEN’S CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP winner Kevin Koe competing against Teams Brad Jacobs, Brad Gushue, Mike McEwen, John Epping, Reid Carruthers, and Steve Laycock. The winners of the 2016 HOME HARDWARE CANADA CUP will earn berths directly into the 2017 Roar of the Rings Canadian Curling Trials in Ottawa, the tournament that will decide Canada's representative at the Pyeongchang 2018 Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
