TORONTO (December 18, 2014) – TSN today announced that six TSN Radio stations will be joined by 10 radio stations across the country to bring Canadians live radio coverage of the nation’s annual holiday hockey tradition, the World Juniors, with the debut of Esso World Junior Hockey on the TSN Radio Network. Live radio coverage on the network begins Friday, Dec. 19 with Team Canada’s first pre-competition game against Russia at 7 p.m. ET.

Spanning AM and FM, as well as sports and news talk stations, Esso World Junior Hockey on the TSN Radio Network will deliver comprehensive coverage of Team Canada throughout the tournament. Live radio broadcast coverage features the team’s RBC Road to the World Juniors pre-competition games, Team Canada’s preliminary round games, plus select quarter-final and semifinal matchups, and the Gold Medal Game (check local listings for game schedules).

Canadians across the country can also listen live wherever they are on the TSN GO mobile app and online at TSN.ca/Radio.

The radio network will be produced by TSN Radio, which operates stations in Toronto, Montréal, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Edmonton, and Vancouver.

Pre- and post-game shows are hosted by Jim Tatti and former NHLer and Team Canada Olympian Todd Hlushko. Play-by-play commentator Elliott Price and analyst Jack Miller deliver the call for all games on TSN Radio’s World Juniors Radio Network.

Along with live coverage of Esso World Junior Hockey on the TSN Radio Network, TSN’s team of Hockey Insiders and experts contribute reports to TSN Radio stations throughout the tournament.
