TORONTO (January 7, 2015) – TSN heads to Calgary to deliver on the button coverage as six Canadian teams hit the sheets to take on Europe’s best at the 2015 World Financial Group Continental Cup.   TSN’s acclaimed curling broadcast team of play-by-play announcer Vic Rauter and analyst Russ Howard, a two-time Brier champion and 2006 Olympic gold medallist, will call the action alongside commentator Cathy Gauthier from the Markin MacPhail Centre at WinSport’s Canada Olympic Park. They are joined by guest analyst and Olympic silver medallist Cheryl Bernard.   The CONTINENTAL CUP format features three men’s and three women’s teams for Team Canada challenging Team Europe and earning points for wins or ties in team games, mixed doubles, singles, mixed skins, and standard skins games.   The field at the 2015 World Financial Group Continental Cup features every men’s and women’s curling medallist from Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. Jennifer Jones, Sochi 2014 gold medallist, headlines a strong contingent of women’s teams that includes two-time defending Scotties champion and world silver medallist Rachel Homan and 2014 CANADA CUP winner Val Sweeting.
