TSN Scores Seven Wins at the 2014 Canadian Screen Awards

To tweet this release: http://bit.ly/1q5A56Z TORONTO (March 5, 2014) – TSN further cemented its status as the industry leader as the network was honoured with seven Canadian Screen Awards, which were announced last night at a ceremony in Toronto.   TSN’s winners for excellence in sports broadcasting include a tie for Best Sports Host in a Sports Program or Series between NHL ON TSN’s James Duthie and SPORTSCENTRE’s Rod Smith.   TSN also captured five awards for its comprehensive coverage of the historic 100th Grey Cup, winning:
  • Best Direction in a Live Sporting Event: Paul Hemming – 100th GREY CUP
  • Best Documentary Series: Ken Volden, Robin Johnston, Shawn Redmond – ENGRAVED ON A NATION
  • Best Live Sports Event: Jon Hynes, Paul Graham – 100th GREY CUP
  • Best Sports Analyst in a Sports Program or Series: Glen Suitor – 100th GREY CUP
  • Best Sports Program or Series: Bill Dodson, Ken Volden – 100th GREY CUP PRE-GAME
