TORONTO (May 23, 2014) – TSN’s exclusive Canadian coverage of all four Grand Slam tennis tournaments continues this weekend with the 2014 FRENCH OPEN. Live coverage begins this Sunday, May 25 at 12 noon ET on TSN2 with three consecutive hours of Early Round Coverage. In total, the networks deliver more than 175 hours of live coverage from the first round through to the finals (see broadcast schedule below).

TSN also delivers exclusive bonus online coverage of the FRENCH OPEN throughout the early rounds, with multi-court live streaming available to TSN subscribers via TSN GO.

French-language coverage of the FRENCH OPEN is available on RDS and RDS2.

Fans can stay up-to-date on all the action from the famous red clay of Roland Garros with FRENCH OPEN PRIMETIME, a daily recap show airing every evening of the tournament with Tessa Bonhomme, a former member of the Canadian national women’s hockey team and Olympic gold medallist, who makes her hosting debut with the network.

TSN’s Mark Masters is on-site in Paris to deliver reports from the tournament for SPORTSCENTRE, Canada’s most-watched sports news program. Masters also contributes written features and web-exclusive one-on-one interviews for TSN.ca.

TSN’s exclusive coverage spotlights Canadian stars Eugenie Bouchard and Milos Raonic throughout the FRENCH OPEN. After being named the 2013 WTA Newcomer of the Year, Bouchard burst onto the world stage this season with her thrilling run to the semifinals at the 2014 AUSTRALIAN OPEN, attracting record audiences to TSN. On the men’s side, the top-ranked Canadian is Raonic, who recently climbed to a career-high #9 in the ATP rankings, and arrives at the FRENCH OPEN on the heels of a run to the semifinals in last week’s Italian Open.

Defending champion and World #1 player Rafael Nadal returns to Paris to compete for an all-time record ninth FRENCH OPEN singles title. The star-studded men’s field also includes World #2 player Novak Djokovic, 17-time Grand Slam title winner Roger Federer, and 2013 WIMBLEDON champion Andy Murray.

The women’s side is headlined by defending champion and 17-time Grand Slam title winner Serena Williams. The World #1 player competes against a field that features 2014 AUSTRALIAN OPEN champ Li Na and 2012 FRENCH OPEN champ Maria Sharapova.

As the undisputed Canadian home of the biggest events on the tennis calendar, TSN has the court covered throughout the entire 2014 season, serving up exclusive coverage of Grand Slam tennis, including the AUSTRALIAN OPEN, FRENCH OPEN, WIMBLEDON, and U.S. OPEN.
